Matrox software update for Matrox MXO2 Family, Mojito MAX and CompressHD is now available for download.

Matrox release 3.1.1 provides the following new features on the Mac for MXO2 Family and Mojito MAX:
• Improvements to device control functionality, including the new “J-K-L” shortcut keys for shuttle control when exporting to tape in Adobe Premiere Pro (press J to shuttle left, L to shuttle right, and K to stop).
• Updates to address specific customer issues and to improve overall stability.

Matrox release 3.1.1 provides the following new features on the Mac for CompressHD:
• Addresses a video corruption issue when using the Matrox MPEG-2 I-frame codec for export.

Matrox Mtx.utils 6.1 provides the following new features on the PC for MXO2 Family and Mojito MAX:

Support for Adobe Premiere Pro 5.5.2.
Support for Microsoft Expression Encoder 4.
Support for 1080PsF @ 24 fps video input and output (SDI video only).
New Matrox AVI export format for improved performance when exporting material to a Matrox .avi file using Adobe Premiere Pro or Adobe Media Encoder. Improved performance is also provided when rendering previews for Matrox sequences in Adobe Premiere Pro.
New center cut and center zoom options when scaling video for capture and output.
Support for audio-only streaming.
The Matrox MAX H.264 Capture application now supports capture to Matrox MPEG-2 I-frame and uncompressed .avi files.
Support for a combination of Matrox Convert DVI scan converters and Matrox I/O devices on the same system with a new driver called Matrox MtxConvert.utils available from the Convert DVI download page.

Jan 20, 2012 Matrox MC-100 Updater 1.1 Now Available

The Matrox MC-100 firmware updater 1.1 is now available for you to download. This update utility is available for Windows 7 (32- and 64-bit) with Service Pack 1 and Windows XP (32-bit) with Service Pack 3.

It provides the following:

The current MC-100 firmware version is now indicated at the bottom of the main MC-100 on-screen display.
A purple screen is now displayed if the output format is not supported by your SDI or HDMI display device.
New hardware operating safety feature where all four SDI LEDs will flash red as a warning when the unit exceeds normal operating temperature.
Audio issue fix for HDMI when outputting SD.
Audio issue fix for 1080i Frame Packing.
Fixes the issue where the MC-100 settings would be reset to factory defaults when DIP switch 1, 2, 3, or 4 was enabled or disabled.

Release 2.3 for Mac is now available for Matrox MXO2 Family and CompressHD.

Release 2.3 provides the following new features for Matrox MXO2 Family and CompressHD:

Support for Mac OS X Lion v10.7.
Added closed captioning workflow support for web deliverables (.mov) using Matrox MAX technology in Apple Compressor. When an SCC (CEA-608) closed caption file is associated with your source media file in Compressor, Matrox MAX technology now embeds the closed caption data to the encoded video file when encoding at 1:1, or when downscaling.
Updates to address specific customer issues and to improve overall stability.

The timely release of the new driver means that you can immediately take advantage of the great new features of Lion while continuing to reap all the productivity benefits of your Matrox MXO2 devices with Final Cut Studio and many other applications.
