Clarisse iFX 2.0 Coming at Siggraph

Montpellier – July 31, 2014 – Isotropix, a privately held software company developing high-end innovative graphics software solutions, announced today Clarisse iFX 2.0 the next iteration of its nextgen 2D/3D rendering tool which will be unveiled at Siggraph 2014. Clarisse iFX 2.0 introduces big improvements to the rendering engine, powerful file referencing and many work flow enhancements.

“We’re really excited to announce this upcoming major version release which is a true milestone for production pipelines. We’ve been working very hard on it for over a year in close relationship with our customers. Thanks to the key feedback we received from artists we’ve been able to ease Clarisse pipeline integration, fine tune and improve many aspects of the unique tools found in Clarisse. Not only we’ve implemented exciting new features such as high quality volume rendering or deep image output, but we’ve also greatly improved large areas of Clarisse in order to offer what’s probably the best out of the box lighting and rendering solution available on the market.” says Sam Assadian, founder and CEO of Isotropix.

Key Clarisse iFX 2.0 Features:

  • Major rendering advancements such as support for volume rendering, Open VDB, deep image output through OpenEXR 2.0, double sided vector displacements and a new powerful AOV engine.
  • New set of texture nodes for look dev artists.
  • Complete OpenColorIO integration for high end color management.
  • Powerful file referencing supporting local overrides and incremental updates designed for team work.
  • Brand new 3D manipulators for faster layout.
