Louis is a Technical Specialist in 3D Animation and Visual Effects for Autodesk.

Louis Marcoux from Autodesk gives us a rundown of 3ds Max and Motion Builder in an animation pipeline.

Part 5 goes into the use of the Kinect unit and Motion Builder with the tools from http://www.brekel.com.

Read and watch the videos here.

Things are looking promising since my initial Kinect post last year.

Hopefully with the release of  the Kinect SDK from Microsoft this Spring Motion Capture on your favorite animation program will become ubiquitous.

More information on the Microsoft Kinect SDK announcement at the official Microsoft blog .
